Final Table is Set at DSPT Battle of Alberta Calgary – Roman Brar Leads Final Nine

We are down to the final nine players remaining in the DSPT Battle of Alberta Calgary Main Event after 77 returned for Day 2 here at Grey Eagle Resort and Casino in Canada. The chip leader at the end of play is Roman Brar (pictured) with a stack of 3,641,000. Brar scored multiple double eliminations after the dinner break tonight to completely run away with the chip lead. Tank Vander is second in chips with 1,715,000, and Thomas Taylor rounds out the top three with 1,558,000.

Taylor will be appearing at his third DSPT final table in Alberta on Monday. He took sixth place at the Calgary Spring Main Event earlier this year, and ninth place at the Calgary Spring Main Event in 2016. DSPT Regular Mike Smith is also at the final table, and he will be looking to win his second DSPT title tomorrow. Smith won the DSPT Edmonton Fall Main Event back in 2015.
